Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and detectives from the Southampton Town Police Department are seeking the public’s help to locate a man who is wanted in connection with a burglary that occurred in Eastport earlier this month. Roger Snyder, 57, entered his neighbor’s residence, located on Old Country Road in Eastport, on November 9 at approximately 9:50 p.m.
During the burglary, Snyder had a confrontation with the homeowner as she was attempting to leave the residence. He fled the scene in a green 1994 Jeep Cherokee with a New Hampshire license plate 2301760.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
