Suffolk County Police have arrested three people in connection to the murder of Alan Moore. Moore, 22, of Hempstead, was found dead in an abandoned residence in Wyandanch in April.
Homicide Squad detectives charged Dequanna Bates, 24, Joshua Nickens, 25, and Larry Dennis, 47, all of 633 Hoffman Ave., Bellport, with Murder 2nd Degree and Kidnapping 1st Degree.
The three are scheduled to be arraigned today at First District Court in Central Islip.

Incident: Man Found Dead in Abandoned Residence
Location: 140 Long Island Ave., Wyandanch, New York
Date/Time: Saturday, April 1, 2017 at approximately 3:15 a.m.
Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating an incident during which a man was found dead in Wyandanch early this morning.
A man entered 140 Long Island Ave. in an effort to escape the weather conditions and found another man dead inside the abandoned residence. The man flagged down police at approximately 3:15 a.m.
The victim, who has not been positively identified, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
Investigators determined the death appears criminal and the investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information to call the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
