Three People Arrested in Connection with Knifepoint Robberies

Huntington Station – Carvel, 1840 New York Ave. / Monday, May 1, 2017 at approximately 9:40 p.m.

Suffolk County Police and Nassau County Police have arrested three people in connection with knifepoint robberies that have occurred in both counties since February.


Cashmore has been identified as the knifepoint robber in 17 additional robberies in Suffolk and Nassau Counties. He has been charged in Suffolk County with Robbery 1st Degree for the following robberies:

· The Barn, located at 370 Hawkins Ave., Lake Ronkonkoma, on April 30 · Baskin Robbins, located at 4597 Sunrise Highway, Bohemia, on April 19 · Subway, located at 600 Portion Road, Holbrook, on April 18 · The Barn, located at 10 Belmont Ave., West Babylon, on April 11 · Carvel, located at 290 Ronkonkoma Ave., Lake Ronkonkoma, on April 1 · Subway, located at 1195 Sunrise Highway, Copiague, on March 20 · Carvel, located at  1075 Montauk Highway, Copiague, on February 13

“These arrests are the result of excellent collaboration between the Suffolk and Nassau County Police Departments. This type of collaboration involves intelligence sharing, daily conversations and meetings and leveraging resources that resulted in the closure of a major case,” Suffolk County Police Commissioner Timothy D. Sini said. “We are glad to bring this spree to an end.”

Cashmore, Drab and Pantaleone are scheduled to be arraigned today at First District Court in Central Islip.
