Suffolk County Police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing homeless man who may be suicidal.
Dylan Lateef, 22, sent his mother, who lives in Deer Park, a message that he was contemplating suicide. Lateef is black, with brown eyes, brown hair and a beard. He is 5 feet 8 inches tall and approximately 160 pounds. He may suffer from bipolar disorder and depression.
Anyone with information on Lateef’s location is asked to call 911 or the First Squad at 631-854-8152.
As a reminder, Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
