Suffolk County Police Special Victims Section detectives are investigating a sexual assault which occurred during a residential burglary in Mastic Beach.
Two males entered the residence and encountered a female resident at approximately 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. One of the males sexually and physically assaulted her. The males fled with cash and property. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The males were described as Black. One male was wearing a dark-hooded sweatshirt and dark pants with a white stripe. The second male was wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt and light-colored pants.
