Suffolk County Police today arrested a West Babylon man for robbing a Farmingdale bank on October 22. Major Case Unit detectives charged Brian James with Robbery 3rd Degree for robbing TD Bank, located at 2025 Broadhollow Road. James, 43, of Outlook Ave., will be held overnight at the First Precinct in West Babylon and is scheduled for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip on October 24.

Suffolk County Police Major Case Unit detectives are investigating a bank robbery that occurred today in Farmingdale.
A man entered TD Bank, located at 2025 Broadhollow Road, at approximately 4:30 p.m., approached a teller and presented a note demanding cash.
The teller complied with the demand and gave the man cash from the drawer. The man fled the bank on foot and was last seen on a bicycle heading eastbound on Milbar Boulevard.
The man was described as black, approximately 40 years old, thin build with a scruffy beard, who was wearing tan or light brown cargo pants, a light colored sweatshirt and a blue baseball cap with the New York Giants logo on it.
The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information about this incident to call Major Case Unit detectives at 631-852-6555 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
