Man Found Fatally Shot in Home

8 Iroquois Ave., Farmingville, New York on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at approximately 8:25 p.m.

Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the death of a man who was found shot in his Farmingville home last night.

Police responded to 8 Iroquois Avenue at approximately 8:25 p.m. after a friend went to the residence to check the welfare of Wayne Booker and discovered Booker had been shot. Booker, 54, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
