Suffolk County Police Major Case Unit detectives are investigating an attempted robbery that occurred at a West Babylon bank today.
A man entered Chase, located at 595 Sunrise Highway, at approximately 8:50 a.m. and handed a teller a note demanding cash. The teller did not comply with the man’s demands and the suspect fled the bank. He was last seen entering a waiting vehicle, described as a newer model, light-colored green Subaru.
The suspect was described as black, dark-skinned, in his late teens to early 20s with a thin build and medium height. He was wearing dark-colored winter clothing.
