Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating a shooting that killed a man in Mastic Beach on Tuesday night, October 26th, 2021.
Sixth Precinct officers responded to 244 Bayview Drive after a 911 caller reported a man had been shot at approximately 9:10 p.m. When police arrived, they found Marcel Arrington lying in front of the residence with a gunshot wound.
Arrington, 18, of Mastic Beach, was transported to Long Island Community Hospital in East Patchogue, where he was pronounced dead.
