MEDFORD – 123 Gray Ave. / Thursday, April 14, 2016 at approximately 7 a.m.
Suffolk County Police have arrested four individuals after a search warrant was executed yesterday morning at a residence in Medford.
In response to neighborhood complaints regarding drug dealing at 123 Gray Ave., Medford, the Sixth Precinct Gang Unit, Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers and the Sixth Precinct Special Operations Team (SOT), executed a search warrant with assistance from the Narcotics Unit. Individuals seeking to buy drugs would typically walk up to the home and conduct drug transactions through a front window
Undercover Narcotics detectives made three marijuana buys from this location where an armed burglary had previously taken place and a prior search warrant yielded recovery of illegal weapons.
A search warrant was executed yesterday morning and the following items were recovered:
Approximately 6 pounds of marijuana (packaged in various sizes)
Approximately 30 grams of Mollys (MDMA)
Numerous Oxycodone pills
A loaded shotgun located next to the window where the transactions took place
A loaded Smith and Wesson .357 handgun revolver
A heat sealer
Several fake handguns
Clinton Parks, 32, of 123 Gray Ave., Medford, was charged with Criminal Sale of Marijuana 4th Degree, Criminal Sale of Marijuana 5th Degree, Criminal Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree, and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree.
Leonard Francis, 31, of 110 Wilson Ave., Medford, was charged with Criminal Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree, and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree.
Willie Davis, 20, of 123 Gray Ave., Medford, was charged with Criminal Possession of Marijuana 5th Degree.
Sheila Richardson, 64, of 123 Gray Ave., Medford, was issued a Field Appearance Ticket for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
Parks and Francis are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on April 15. Richardson and Davis are scheduled to appear at First District Court in Central Islip at a later date.
The investigation is continuing and additional charges maybe pending.
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
