Central Islip Man Arrested for Stabbing Man with Machete

BRENTWOOD – In Front of 58 Bradley St., Brentwood /Thursday, September 8, 2016 at approximately 11:30 p.m.

Suffolk County Police have arrested a Central Islip man for stabbing a man with a machete outside a Brentwood residence last night.

Third Precinct officers were called to 58 Bradley St. after a 911 caller reported a fight in front of the residence on September 8 at approximately 11:30 p.m. Upon arrival, it was determined that Jose Hernandez, 39, had been stabbed with a machete. Hernandez was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment of serious injuries.


A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
